What do you love to do?

One of the questions I am always asked is…

How can you just go away for weeks or months on end and not worry about anything? The answer is simple, I have not worked for anyone else in what most people would define as “a proper job” for nearly 30 years now.

How can you go away for a month or more if you are employed?
You can’t, because if you did, you would not have your “job” when you come back.

The answer is to start creating other income streams while you still have your safe secure job! Now that’s a weird statement these days isn’t it?  What job is really secure….  and what does job mean?

Jump Out of Bed or Just Over Broke – If you had the choice would you really , honestly choose to go to work every day? Most people would say NO but if you say to yourself yes, then you are truly happy and what I would term successful. Success is really actually doing every day what you want to do.. That’s Freedom. It’s definitely not about the money because there are a lot of very unhappy and miserable millionaires out there. Happiness and Freedom is what you are really searching for…

So what is it that you really love to do…

What sort of things do you think or daydream about?

I have for years and years always dreamed of living and running my own resort in the Far East. It really started when I was working as a Network Marketing trainer and we were working in Bali, Indonesia….  I know that sounds way out but that was a way of life I and several friends lived back in the early 90’s. The company we were involved with at the time was “Herbalife” (but there are 100’s of other companies active in the market today that you could choose if you wanted to live the same lifestyle.) Anyway, the company would announce that they were opening a new Country… and anyone who wanted to go there could jump on a plane and start recruiting (at our own expense of course)  The first time I went to a new country was S. Africa… I flew in and checked into a hotel till I found an apartment a couple of weeks later and started to run recruitment ads in the local papers.

Soon I had a few people signed up and had met up with a few other distributors who had also flown in to do the same as me. Then I had a few of my distributors fly in from the UK and Germany and we all lived and worked and had a fantastic life experience in Cape Town South Africa…  for me it was 18 months and for a few others it was a few years and for others a few months. I suppose it all depends on your personal circumstances.

I had basically had enough of the UK and the taxes and decided to go abroad… I was married at the time and had two daughters… One had already left school and was living with a boy friend and my youngest was 16 and just finished school. She also came to Cape Town after a few months as finding a job in the UK at 16 was not easy even back then. He life has never been boring since then and has had many experiences and eventually married a S. African and lived there for many years.

Back to the theme of this posting… Freedom to work when and where and with whom you want are the most important factors to consider..  From S.A. I went to the Philippines for 6 months, Then it was Thailand for about 10 years in and out and in between Bali, Indonesia which brings me back to my “Living on a resort” dream. What happened was that, a distributor who also became a really good friend of mine (Mona) had recruited the owner of a resort hotel in Bali.

That owner, offered for us to live in the hotel and my room was directly overlooking the stunning swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and landscaping. I lived in that room running ads in the local papers and doing business presentations and training seminars at the hotel for about 6 weeks. After that time, my visa had expired and I went back to Thailand for another few years.

While in living in Phuket, Thailand I was approached by another guy whom I recruited into the company that used to be a top timeshare salesman. This guy had found a resort for sale in Pak Chong, just north of Bangkok and he needed a business partner to help him fund the lease. So to cut another long story short, I had decided to buy the lease on the resort with Juregen, the German guy and we moved in and ran that business for a while.

So that is why I love the idea of resort living and I have just returned for Thailand yet again with the plans and pictures of the resort I am creating. Because we already own the land, the resort units, swimming pool and landscaping are not going to be that expensive. The designer has created the plan and we have already started some of the work. The resort is not really being created as a money making exercise, it is being created as a dream place to live and work from.

I just love waking up and wandering around by the ocean or a pool and nature every morning. I love the freedom of living where ever I want and not having to commute to work every day in traffic and watch the same old rubbish on TV every evening…  You do realize why they call them “TV Programs” don’t you? Virtually everyone you know is being programmed to go to work everyday and pay the exorbitant taxes and bills and fuel costs by the TV and advertising companies. Most of the people you know are basically all asleep… but some are waking up and if you are reading this, you are probably already awake and are desperately looking for a way out of the restriction and controlling forces.

When I have the time, I create niche and tradesmen type websites and sell them on ebay or even made to order by clients. Some basic sites sell for £150 to £500 on ebay and some go for several £1000’s…  When you consider that a basic website can be created in a few hours, £150 is a very good return on your time. You may not sell it immediately but then you can use your spare time to make a few more sites.

I have quite a few available for sale now on ebay and a couple of expensive ones that are more for individuals or companies already working in the fields. Check them below  if your interested in taking on a specific website business and getting it working for you.  I also offer to teach you how to build websites for £100 (2 hours working with me on the phone where I train you on the online website building)
